"We like to make fun of Peter for being maybe a little bit headlong and stupid, but this is about his relationship with his Lord. He loves Jesus. The world will definitely tell us that’s stupid. The Bible calls it the “foolishness of God.” Because it’s really the smartest thing we could ever do with our lives. Maybe, really, Peter was the smartest disciple. Think about it."
